The love of country music brought together Ray Franklin and Tor Gundersen one day in the early “80”s. Ray was fronting a country band called “Hamilton’s Power” playing in Norway’s Kristiansand. Tor, who ran his own trucking company in a neighboring town, met Ray one night when Tor went back stage to meet the band. It was the start of a long friend ship that developed when Tor joined Ray and the boys on the road and spent the next few years touring Europe and the UK.

Ray had formed Hamilton’s Power and had spent many years touring with the band working in Europe the USA and Canada. He had first learned country music working in the Pacific with the American’s who were fighting in the Vietnam conflict. He later went on to work the British music scene in the “90”s with the midland band “Rio Grande”.

Tor had built a small export and import business and had interests in marine engineering and working worldwide. Being a trucker went together with country music, and over the years his love of the music gave him the opportunity to meet and help bands and artists from many places in the world, especially Scandinavian artists.

 

Over the years they and their families had formed a bond, and visited each other when possible at festivals and the small projects that they had managed to run. It was at one of these the reasoning behind Bellarosa arose. The company was then formed in 2002.

Bellarosa are here to promote Scandinavian bands and artists to the UK. To provide the latest country music and to obtain the unobtainable;
